Het bezoek in gevangenissen komt nu langzaam weer op gang, maar veel gedetineerden hebben vanwege de coronacrisis al drie maanden of langer hun kinderen niet in levende lijve gezien. Reden voor Gevangenenzorg Nederland om een actie te starten.
Gedetineerden die vader zijn kunnen hun kind(eren) verrassen met een cadeautje. Binnen onder andere de penitentiaire inrichting (PI) Veenhuizen maken gedetineerden dankbaar gebruik van deze mogelijkheid.
